Kristina Dahlman also began collaborating with this duo adding background vocals and further programming. They have that Tunng folktronica mix of classical, natural sounds based around acoustic guitar melodies and a clearly sequenced computer foundation of beats, sounding at times like the other distanced back and forth musical project, the Postal Service, not as technical or harsly electronic, more of a balance between musicianship and machine. The multitracked ethereal vocals from Petter act as another heavily effected element in the mix, on the same field as the melodic lines, at times sounding computerized. It's a great balance of mostly human elements and swirling vocals intermixed with just enough unplayable mysterious instrumentation to keep it compelling. It's anything but ambient, with lots of samples, string sections and channel panning. This very catchy lush 7" will surely be snapped up quick, be on the look out for these up and comers.
